She took the time to explain to us every realty term that we were not familiar to, giving us the reassurance and confidence that we needed. My wife and I can’t say enough about the time and effort Valentina put in helping to sell our home. If it were only as simple as selling the home, there would be nothing extraordinary about the experience. In this case, it was the ‘everything else’ that truly made the difference.
Valentina took time at the beginning to walk us through what would turn into a 8-month process from preparation to sale. Along the way, there were a myriad of emergency issues to contend with from coordinating and replacing the central A/C unit and solar boiler, to two cracked toilet tanks, water leaks, sprinkler issues, and a bird nest in the roof. And regardless of the issue, Valentina provided three quotes for every repair needed.
Beyond just the repairs mentioned, she had heard from one individual during an open house they were able to leverage a lifetime window warranty during the purchase of their home in the neighborhood. She quickly followed up with us to see if we still had our original window warranty given a number of windows and/or panes of glass required replacement due to discoloring, etc.. As it turned out, the company honored that warranty. Valentina then followed all company instructions provided in measuring the windows that were to be replaced. It was during her measurements that she identified a few more windows for the company to check. In total, the company agreed to replace 7 windows—remarkable, and likely a key consideration for prospective buyers.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that Valentina had my wife and I fill out the SRPDS (disclosure) at the beginning of the process, then cross-checked her previous records (former property manager) to ensure all items were accurately annotated. This paperwork was then amended three times before the final sale ensuring the process went smoothly.
It is difficult to put into words the burdens she took upon herself in mitigating our stress while getting us to the finish line. Her due diligence likely saved our family thousands in additional repair costs and there is not a doubt in our mind that despite the tough market, her actions were the key to getting the sale and clearly blurred the lines between job and friendship. Obviously not everyone can win this award, but if there could only be one—I honestly can’t think of anyone more deserving than Valentina.

Even after the transactions were made, Valentina made sure that nothing was over paid, and she also made sure I got refunded what I'm owed. Followed with the lending agent, selling agent and escrow people to make sure everything was good to go.
